Crowdsourcing an option for disaster relief

This article on the application of crowdsourcing in relief efforts in Haiti is timely. It seems like a useful application.

  1. This article is amazing. The fact that the Red Cross could respond to the message with in 20 minutes. That never would have happened 10 years ago maybe even 2 years ago.
    I like the positive aspect of it, but it is also kinda big brother. The idea that someone is always watching you or communicating is kinda scary...
